Sunder as a Melee attack

That's one of the main reasons I support the table. It's unambiguous. The text can be read to be in contradiction with the table... but it can also be read so that it isn't.

When you can read it two ways, and one way is supported by rules found elsewhere in the book, and the other way isn't, I know which one works for me...

II have a question you may be able to answer. It just happened recently and we debated this for a good twenty minutes. From memory (I don't have my book on hand) I read Sunder ="an attack". Thus, could you Sunder someone's weapon as an Attack of Opportunity? Since an AOO is an "attack". ???

According to the table of action types, you can use Trip, Grapple or Disarm once in an Attack Action, a Charge, or an AoO, or one or more times in a Full Attack Action.

Sunder is a Standard Action, which cannot be performed as part of the Attack Action, a Charge, an AoO, or a Full Attack Action.
