Dang, that was some of the best fun I've had in a long time. Thormagni, thanks again for running the game for us!

It was really cool to play the super hero version of Phaidon even though he had so much in common with Wolvie. ;)

I can't wait to play that again! When will you be able to do it again, Thormagni?

Got any ideas on how a super hero wizard should be played?

Generally, wizard characters are very flexible in comic books, having a wide variety of moderately powerful abilities instead of a few very powerful abilities. And I think it would be common to take powers that require certain settings, magic items or components to use. Generally, I have seen superhero wizards used as support chraacters, rather the main muscle themselves. And of course, with all the skill necesary to root out supernatural evil that other characters don't have. I mean, Dr. Strange is really tough against the denizens of darkness, but not really ready to go toe-to-toe with Doctor Octupus at the drop of the hat. But you would want him around when the evil demons from Dimension X start pouring through the gate.

A good resource, if you can find a copy, is The Ultimate Supermage, by Hero Games that came out several years ago. Most of that could be easily converted to any other game system, I would think.
