Justice League Season 2 DVD comes with a free ticket to Superman Returns.

I agree the Superman scenes are incredible, it is the Luthor scenes that bother me. Luthor is not a raving maniac or a comedian, he is power, personified.

This is Spacey playing Hackman playing a goofy silver age version of Luthor.

They should have wiped the slate clean and started with a new Superman movie instead of trying to tie into the first two flicks, while ignoring the last two.

And have yet another origin story movie. Nah, I think this was the right choice - it's only loosely a sequel to the other movies, more like recognizing them as part of the overall Superman mythos.

The reviews are starting to pop up. 7 out of 7 favorable on RottenTomatos so far.

Unless i see some critter or foe that will be a challenge to Supes other than Luthor and chunk-o-Kryptonite with a side of angst, I'll pass on this.

What really worries me is seeing a toy of Supes punching a person sized huck of [green]kryptonite. Now it might just be the toy line running out of ideas, but on the other hand i could imagine hollywood pulling something like that...

Yep; all the preview reviews I've glimpsed (to keep spoilers to a minimum) have been gushingly positive. On RottenTomatoes you got that one insane person who didn't like it, much like the reviews for The Incredibles.
