Superman | Sneak Peek

That still doesn't work - a million dollars in damages is, like a couple of suburban houses near a major metropolis (pun intended). Doing a million dollars of property damage is hard in a park.
The median price for a house in Los Angeles and its suburbs is around 1.2m.

I don't if it's meant to be sinister, but Gunn is clearly telling us the first robot is wrong and the robots do have needs and motivations.

When my wife has a cold, and I bring her chicken soup, she may complain that she's making me do "extra work". I always say, "Don't worry about that dear."

Same thing here, First Robot is trying to allow Superman to worry about himself for the moment, and not his helpers.

But, three cheers for having Alan Tudyk.

Yeah, but that house normally has, like 4 people in it, right?

So... kid's birthday party... they hire a guy in a Superman suit as an entertainer, and Krypto is flying by... and things go pear-shaped?

Normally, yeah. But if you hit the house across the street on party night(all too often), you'd get 30+. :P

Kids party. College party. Graduation party. Barbeque party. Superbowl with a super guy. :)

It's a long shot, because the timing has to be really good, but it could happen. As I said upthread, the damage would generally be significantly more than 1.4m.

You'd need to take out a neighborhood, a grocery store, an office building or something similar to reliably hit that many on a Krypto zoomie/puppy play day.

Marvin is a big fan of Krypto!
