Chuck, any chance you knocking out Darksied, Venom or Apocalypse? lol

Just curious if I should raise my Galactus up to 40th-50th lvl? Just comparing him to Dr. Doom you makde at 30th wasn't sure if you thought that offsets The world eaters level? What do you guys think?

I didn't build the Tentacles as sentient creatures. I see them as more of extensions of Otto's own personality and he can use their sensors to see and hear what they see and hear, but they're not sentient.

Yeah, I always saw his tentacles as just a special effect. I wouldnt design them as sidekicks or anything.

Venom is possible.

On the subject of Galactus, I actually wouldnt do him with a stat-block. I always saw Galactus as a force of nature or a plot hook.

You have to get the Ultimate Nullifier in 20 hours or the Earth is doomed, that sort of thing.

You dont beat Galactus by just hammering away at him and reducing his HP, if that makes any sense.

Yeah, that makes sense, but I know my group. lol and just like in DnD as soon as they get epic level - they have to try to become gods themselves and fight everything in the known galaxy. hehe So I figured I'd had better get a grasp on how quickly Galactus could kick their butts. lol They are liable to try and pick a fight with Death and Eternity to become the new forces of the universe.

So my players are a pain in my rear - we start playing supers and one makes a mutant, one makes a james bond type guy, one wants to be a jedi, one a vampire and the latest guy wants to make a transformer. lol So of course I have to make background villians to come beat on them....

Lol, yeah, that's often the way.

One place you might draw inspiration would be to check out the New Teen Titans, who were also a very disparate group, with a mystic gal (Raven), an Alien (Starfire), tech guy (Cyborg) and Robin (James Bond guy?)

Basically each had a backstory and villains built in, and occasionally each would be highlighted, as I recall.

Well, I dont even know what the release date IS if that tells you anything ;)

Seriously though, everything got behind after GenCon, mostly cause Chris got the con crud while he was there, so we just now released Modern20 Revised, which was a prerequisite to release Modern Mayhem, which is in editing now.

So even if Dark Future was done (and it isn't), it would be waiting in line with all the other lonely bills, waiting to become laws.
