Hehe, well to me the ranger is the striker of 4e....everyone else is just a "damage dealer with benefits"

Sorcerers probably do hedge them out on multi-targeted damage, but the ranger has the option of insane single-target damage or merely excellent multi-target damage.

And of course, the ranger is doing his damage 40 squares away!! Get the far shot and even the tarrasque aura can't mess with the ranger!

Admixture (frost) Scorching Burst.


If someone had fire reistance? he just grinned wider and spammed scorching burst. Sure he could have taken wintertouched as well, but he was all about "Kill it with Fire!"

We weren't sure if people adjacent to his Wall of Fire triggered these feats or not. Any discussion?

Unless you make an attack roll and the result is better than the targeted defense, you didn't hit something. Wall of fire just does damage, it doesn't hit.
