Why y'all hating on the Roper? It was a really nasty (and thus fun) enemy for my level 4 party.

It's not personal (for me, anyway). I love the Roper, it's a D&D classic. In fact, all of the monsters on this list are golden. But I have to downvote something, and the Roper has the shortest straw.
