Perhaps adding a 12h limit before voting again would be nice because noone abuse this most of the time but suddenly when there's only 2 or 3 contenders it seems to change...

Grouped young, adult, ancient and Wyrmlings together so there are only 15 total. For Fiends, I'll probably split into Demons, Devils and Other, though I'm tempted to let it just be a huge Blood War and make downvotes worth 3 or 4 to speed it up.

Full disclosure, I actually wanted the ghost to win. I knew that I had to keep the lich afloat long enough to take out the stronger opponents, and it almost worked.

LOL, I tried to get people to think that, but no... I wanted the Lich to win after the Death Knight was eliminated.
