I'd be curious to hear why people favor the Mummy over the Mummy Lord.

I can only speak for myself, but I have fond memories of using Mummies in earlier editions where they were super scary with mummy rot.

Yes, the modern Mummy Lord with spell casting is great, but nostalgia is speaking to me on this particular point.
