D&D 5E Survivor Core Races: HALF-ELF WINS

This thread is inspired by the other thread on the core classes. That one is a popularity vote, this one is a process of elimination.

Each race starts with 20 points and you vote for one race you like which gets an uptick (one point) and a race you dislike which loses 3 points. Yes I am aware a negative vote is worth more that is intentional. Upvotes are in green, downvotes are in in red. Copy and paste the previous posters vote and change the numbers. You may vote once per day. This is purely a popularity contest and you do not have to explain an upvote or downvote. When downvotes reach 0 the class is eliminated. Finally, if a race has one or two votes left, then you have to make the choice to use all of your downvotes to eliminate it; there is no vote splitting.

Two important points that you must read before voting-
1. This is a pure popularity contest, and is meant to be fun. You can cast your votes for whatever reason you want. Spite, irrational love/hate, gameplay mechanics, strategic voting, and so on is perfectly acceptable. This vote does not affect anything in real life, and no races will be removed from real life gameplay because of this vote. You can comment for the reasons for your vote, or not- up to you! But this is for enjoyment only.

2. In order to be objective, I pulled the list from wikipedia (list of character races) and just put in the ones called "Core Races." If you want to know why Drow is separate, but not other subraces, or why Goliath isn't included, or any of a thousand other questions- I don't know. There's a million different ways to do this, and this is the way it happened. :)

Dragonborn 20
Drow 20
Dwarf 20
Eladrin 20
Elf 20
Gnome 20
Half-elf 20
Half-orc 20
Halfling 20
Human 20
Tiefling 20

Aww I didn't get to vote for the Drow.

Honestly, I hate the implementation of the Dragonborn in 5e, but my love of the concept transcends its mechanically (and, more importantly, flavorfully) weak representation.

And Elves can go die in a fire. Rasser-frassin' laundry list of powerful features....

The only thing worse than an emo elf.

Also, deep gnomes are great.

That's not a tiefling: -3
Dragonborn are actually kinda interesting: +1

I'm actually torn on the Eladrin thing. Real elves favor spell over bow, but that just makes them elves, not something else.

C'mon, someone kill the Eladrin already.

Edit: congrats for making me post after half a year of lurking
