Survivor: Greyhawk

The tingling means it’s working!
Here's a challenge for character-creation fiends and powergamers: make the most durable character for a Greyhawk campaign. That means 28 point buy, Greyhawk races, Greyhawk
prestige classes.

The character should be very durable at all levels, able to survive any situation.

Here's a couple to get the ball rolling:

Lucky Pete
Halfling
Str: 8 Dex: 16 Con: 14 Int: 10 Wis: 14 Cha: 14

Rog 1 Weapon Focus: Sling (1d6 sneak)
Clr 1 (of Cyndor, Domains Protection, Luck)
Clr 2 Improved Init
Clr 3 +1 Dex
Rog 2 (Evasion)
Clr 4 Iron Will
Clr 5
Clr 6 (+1 Dex)
Holy Liberator 1 Endurance (Divine Grace)
Templar 1 (Mettle, Weapon Spec: Sling)

No-magic AC and saves
1st level: 18 AC (chain shirt), F 3 R 6 W 3 (+2 vs. fear)
3rd level: 19 AC (chain shirt, small shield), F 6 R 6 W 6
10th level: 19 AC (same) F 10 R 11 W 12 (evasion, mettle)

This character would stay out of melee, throwing or slinging Magic Stones and using spells to take out enemies.

The other idea is to go for a Con-heavy Dwarf (+2 to magic and poison saves) Ftr/Cleric, skipping Holy Liberator.

Georn the Blade
Str: 14 Dex: 14 Con: 17 Int: 10 Wis: 14 Cha: 6

Ftr 1 Improved Init, Dodge
Clr 1 (of Kelanen, Domains Travel, War: WF long sword)
Clr 2 Mobility
Clr 3 +1 Con
Ftr 2 Spring Attack
Clr 4 Endurance
Templar 1 (Mettle, WS: long sword), BAB 6/1
Clr 5 +1 Wis

This guy has less impressive Reflex saves and no evasion, but way more HP, much better AC (full plate + large shield), spring attack (used with Exp. Retreat), and a much better melee attack (for when you're pressed into melee).

Any other ideas? Maybe something with Barbarian?
