I have deliberately excluded monsters that are cannon fodder or only have loose associations with D&D as well as popular culture (that means no orcs, dragons, zombies, goblins, trolls, or vampires for example

I know I don't - for me they show up mostly as black on black and I can't be bothered squinting that hard. The only thing I look for is whether a downvote is 2 or 3 in that particular runoff. (this time it's 2)
