Disappointed it ended up being Mordy. To me he was more what my players refer to as a DMF(N)PC - F standing for favourite - than a straight up player character liked Tenser.

But at least he was a PC at some stage rather than a character from a book or a pure NPC. It is an rpg world after all.

This was an idea finish for me. Mordenkainen, Bigby and Tenser were my top three choices.

Rob Kurntz, while DMing Gary Gygax's character Mordenkinen, decided that only henchmen an hirelings that ended with -by would work for Mordenkainen. Thus Zigby, Rigby, Sigby, Bigby, Nigby, and Digby were all his hirelings/henchmen until Rob relented.
