Survivor Palau - Early favorites?

All and all it was a great show. I liked the immunity twist. A very un- expected one. Somthing that i felt helped keep the show interesting. Yup, great show. I liked angie a lot, but good lord she was begining to get emotional. I guess it goes with the situation. As far as that tribe goes, I like Stephanie.... maybe Bobbie jon, but thats it.

Stupid Ibrehem.

Heh.

Ulong got smacked again. By the WEAKER half of Koror, too. Yikes. It's almost like shooting fish in a barrel. The only members of Ulong that deserve to be around are Steph, Bobby Jon and Angie. And of course one of them is gone. Koror seemed to have no trouble getting out James' "Navy Knot." Heh.

It could just be because Steph is really cute but I really hope she survives long enough to make it near the end or to it. It almost hurts to see her lose every week after doing so well individually. She's practically carrying the team as they only won the reward because of her sharpshooting. But, she is a threat and doesn't have the numbers. If her social game is any good maybe she can grab one of the Koror factions to keep herself around. But I doubt it. None of my favorites ever win.

Needless to say, the merge is two weeks away and that's when things will get good. Koror will have to start eating itself alive. Tom will be a huge target which is too bad because he's a cool player. Coby is also interesting. As long as he doesn't shoot himself in the foot socially he could make it all the way. But either way, I'll be routing for Steph. After she is gone I'll pick a new favorite... :)

I hope Step stays around longer too, she is cute but she is the only one left in Ulong that has performed week after week (Angie was another but...). Not that it matters this late in the game but she may have made herself a target last night in the vote, Bobby Jon has to know now that she is the player, again, not that it matters as Ulong has never been a tribe but that is to be expected with week after week of loses. :D They don't even have a camp!

It was good to see James go, he was getting on my nerves.

Yeah, seeing Angie leave was dissappointing. Her effort was really good which made her (and her team) easy to route for. And you're right about Steph. I think she made a blunder in playing both sides and switching in the final vote so obviously. Bobby John has to know that she is a liar. But I think that he doesn't like Ib all that much so their "alliance" still may be okay, especially considering it wasn't his head on the block.

James was annoying, but in an entertaining way. It would have been interesting to see him make the merge. Ib & BJ bring nothing to the table for me. They are booooooring.

And just as a quickie: Did anyone else think that Ulong would finally win immunity this week? I was a little suprised that the Koror B-team took that immunity challenge. They must have been saving their energy from all that doing nothing around camp. Heh. Who knew?

There are soo many of them, Tom and Ian are keeping them up and busy, Ulong is the underdogs, you can't help but hope they win immunity but they have the hard life and it is showing on them, someone else in the cooking pot. As for the B-team beating them, they beat themselves, only Step and Bobby Jon performed in the immunity challenge, James tied his surong (sp) for 4 minutes and Ib only went half way into the water and waited! What was the B-team doing, using the extra rope to add even more knots to the box.

I thought the outcome of the immunity challenge was fantastic. The look on James' face when they took apart that knot like it wasn't even tied was great. A Mastercard moment. If Steph can make it to the merge, she might develop allies in Coby, Greg and Jenn against the other members of Koror. I won't be surprised if Koror sticks to the plan and systematically eliminates Ulong first, though. At this point, I still favor Ian and Tom as being able to forge enough of an alliance with two others to make it to the final four despite being such a powerful threat. But given how things change so much during individual immunity challenges, anything goes...

I thought Tom's support of (forget her name) after the storm was very interesting, he was very open. Then you had Ian, picking the teams and the working of the teams. Tom and Ian are a tag team, they are moving between each member and are impressive to watch, from what little we see of the Koror tribe.

I have to agree with you. I am afraid that when one goes down the other will too. Ian seems like a really nice guy, but it would be interesting to have him turn on Tom later in the game. Though honestly I just cant see how Tom will survive the merge unless he wins immunity. Then I suspect Ian to go in his place. Personally I like Steph too. Karyn is the only one left that I really cant stand. Ib needs to go because he is soooo boring.
