SVM for Warlocks?

Sudden Still is allowed. My DM is letting me house rule up a Still Spell-like Ability feat. Note that you still have to make a concentration check in a grapple, so the Steady Concentration feat (take 10 on Conc. even if distracted or threatened) from Races of Stone is a nice feat to have.

Steady Concentration is probably not worth it for most Warlocks (two feats for a once per day invocation while grappled is pricey).

Concentration rolls are pretty easy for a Warlock to make (since it is a class skill) and since the Sudden Still feat is once per day, just using up one feat for this is probably sufficient considering that a Warlock has the +3/4 BAB progression and has a fair chance of not getting into a grapple in the first place (using an Attack of Opportunity) and also a fair chance of getting out of a grapple once in one anyway.

For most people, that may be true. Alas, I am one of those gamers cursed with abyssmal dice luck. Therefore for me, a chance to take 10 is a boon!

Still, two feats to use one non-somatic invocation per day when it is possible that you just might be re-grappled by the same foe in the same combat anyway.

I wouldn't even bother with the first feat let alone the second one. You might as well take Improved Unarmed Strike and Improved Grapple if you are going to use two feats. You'll get a lot more use out of them.
