So instead of spending all of Sor6 casting just haste in your 3rd-level slots, you spend (almost) all of Sor6 being a Sor5 and not having any 3rd-level slots at all? I'm not sure that really helps.

True, but for a Wiz 6 staying 5 or a Sor 7 staying 6 it makes a lot less difference. Which is why I said 'timing'!

No. Just no. Medium BAB, D6 hit die, a good Reflex save, a lame skill list, no exceptional class features to speak of and it loses FOUR caster levels!? You've got to be kidding me. This abomination is even worse than Acolyte of the Skin and almost as bad as Rage Mage.

I do give whoever these guys are props for having WotC publish their work. However, from an optimization standpoint, I don't see any reason to ever take this class.
