Swiftly House Ruling Complete Spells for Adventuring

ThaDium

First Post
So, I'm thinking of saying that if you know the "swift" version of a spell, you know the regular version as well. Having invisability, but not swift invisability makes sense, but why anyone would chose swift invis over the regular version is beyond me. This mostly impacts PrC's and sorcerers, as mages get tons of spells anyway.

Thoughts?

What if you resolved it with feats, instead? Perhaps a character with a normal version of the spell and the Quicken Spell feat could prepare (or spontaneously cast) the "swift" version instead, rather than the normal version at an increased level.

This would also give sorcerers and other spontaneous characters a reason to take Quicken Spell.
