Switching feats

Does there exist any way for a character to replace one of his feats? Would you allow a Wish to have that effect?

Say we have a sorcerer who took his first feat as Point Blank Shot, or something else helpful at low level. By the time he's high level, he'll never use his crossbow again, so the feat is pretty much useless. Is he stuck with it?

Wouldn't Point Blank Shot also be useful for ray spells?

[edit] Oh... the question. I'll say no it isn't possible to retroactively change stuff... UNLESS the DM agrees... Then anything is possible!!!

I would let a wish change a current feat for another he has the prereqs for.

Edit- Note that this is not any rule. But as a DM I would allow it.

By the rules feats cannot be exchanged. Some people might allow a wish to do it. Others might allow a quest or other in game activity to be required to switch out feats. That, of course, is up to the DM.
