Sword of Betrayal and Loyalty

+4 seems FAR too large for a weapon which has no actual bonusses at all. In 3.0, Sure Striking enabled the penetration of all DR for +1. Some people thought it overpowered at +1 but it wouldn't have been overpowered at +2. This enhancement isn't even as good as Sure Striking since it doesn't enable the penetration of a significant portion of high end DR.

DR/Good and Silver, DR /Good and Cold Iron, DR/ Adamantium, and DR/Silver are all impervious to this sword. I wouldn't price the ability above +1 if I were to give it a bonus equivalence at all. . . . (8000gp might be good if you go for a fixed price--Align Weapon is very very very weak for a 2nd level spell; compare it to bless weapon which also aligns weapons to Good and you'll see what I mean).

If you actually gave the weapon the Holy/Lawful/Chaotic/Unholy ability based on the wielder's alignment, +4 to +6 would be reasonable (depending on how much the fact that it's only one of those for characters with neutral alignments and does nothing for true neutral characters).

Ok, I'll try to play test it. I think +4 is too big, but I'll go with you on this....

I think that it is what the weapon actually does...
