Well, Swordmage's Aegis power is Close 2. Thus, I cannot, say, move, mark, then charge. This is rather clumsy.
Paladin and Battlemind have wider area for their marking powers. PHB fighter auto-mark the foe he attacks. And warden's marking ability is free action and thus he can use it after charging. And of course, Essential defenders don't need to mark.
Now, Aegis blade is one solution. But that is the item's daily power. Wandering Swordmage Paragon Path is great. But that is not available in hero tier campaign and at paragon+ tier, it cannot be combined with other paragon path (of course).
Are there any other good way or ways to expand the area of Swordmage's Aegis?
