A Wicked Kendragon
Ah. I think I see what you mean now.So, going back to my orig8nal question... with things like these in mind...
Founder destiny, just to found a merchant company would be enough for "destiny fulfilled"? As merc companies rise and fall all the time... what I'm asking as a GM, if a player has founder, and chooses to found a merc company, something that simple being a destiny fulfilled?
I'd rule that for the character to have 'founded a merc company' the company would have to become a decent size (10-20+ mercs), with sufficient support personnel, offices, transports, space and ground vehicles, etc. And that the company would need to fulfill a number of missions, successfully, which would significantly affect the locales they operate in (rebellion, rebellion suppression, protecting a colony being built, etc.). In other words, it would need to make a name for itself, to become a company with fame that people would know about and would wish to hire. If the company keeps failing the character keeps getting destiny penalties for it.
But if you're the GM it all depends on the type of game you'd run. What possibilities the characters have. Obviously there's not much point having a character take a destiny they'll never have a chance of fulfilling.
