OOC: Not too be too anoying, but I likely would have used an HP (I have one left I think) on a reroll of a realy bad save, however, looks like it wouldn't have mattered so no big deal.Salix said:OOC: Sorry my original post didn't include the opposition's attack rolls. Gun Monkey made a bad save followed by a natural 20 from Dr. Null that made his second save very difficult.Roughneck also got hit with one critical, leading to his being Bruised.

However, someone choosing to use an HP to reroll a save is actualy a common thing, having just gotten back from running 4 games at Gen Con, so allowing for the opertunity should be out there. For all other uses, it's probably best declaired before hand in PbP. I also had to assume some HP expendature while NPCing some people in Quake, which was an odd situation.
[sblock=OOC]A friend of mine and I run Jupiter City[/ulr] M&M events. 3 of them were a blast, and the 4th game was fun but dragged a bit as no one realy seemed able to grasp ahold of the game quite right. All in all, fun was had by all, we handed out some dice, and people had fun.Salix said:OOC:No Problem. GM is going to need some help from B&S either way. I think the best he can come out is staggered. 4 Games at Gen Con M&M, D&D? how does that work, all oneshots?
OOC:I'll start asking before big decision points. ie critical attacks, or any badly failing toughness saving throw where one of the players get hurt. In GM's case the re-roll was identical to the original roll ( a 3). Since you stated to never mind, I'm going to just play as is with GM having the point at his disposal, but remaining unconscious. BTW: the Jupiter City stuff looks pretty cool. Too bad I live in California instead of near Chicago (for many reasons 1. I'm a native midwesterner 2. CA housing prices).Bront said:However, someone choosing to use an HP to reroll a save is actualy a common thing, having just gotten back from running 4 games at Gen Con, so allowing for the opertunity should be out there. At her direction, she'll use it to visually scour the cockpit for any evidence of a hatch or other weak spot that could be accessed.
(Using bag's ESP ability. Notice +4 or Search +2, whichever is more appropriate.)
The gestalt entity known as body and Spirit turn from their course, and rush towards their fallen camrade-in-arms. They will rech him soon.Erekose 13 said:not sure if I understand the map, can I make a direct bee line for GM?
Body and Spirit head towards their fallen comrade. Provided no one is vaporized, B&S can save any team member.
Roughneck pounds the leg of the tripod walker, focusing to deliver a perfect strike! the structure is heavily dented but does not give.Roughneck said:Dammit can never be easy can it? though Nick as he tried to make his own Hatchway into the Big Bot.
