System-free Settings

By the rules above, I'd say you should also include:

Aihrde: After Winter's Dark Campaign Folio (Troll Lord Games)

D'oh! Agreed! I feel pretty silly for not including it initially, as I have a copy of it sitting less than two feet away from my computer

Guess I will put two items up for consideration ....

Wilderlands of High Fantasy (Box Set) by Judges Guild/Necromancer Games. Not sure what percentage is 3.5E specific, but I believe most of the rules crunch is in the Player's Guide which is a separate product.

Shadow World by I.C.E. ... mostly for the setting books which have some nice material.

It's more than one page worth of information, for certain, given that most of the box set is 3.5-specific encounters.

I have all of the older Loremaster / Shadow World supplements. . . they all contain more than one page of system-specific rules (though they are still an excellent read and a lot of fun). Did the new 4th edition Shadow World stuff drop the Rolemaster stats and such?

Yep -- pretty much Harn.

While there is some game material in their settings, for the most part it is pretty much "system free" ... and has glorious maps, to boot! Probably the best maps I have seen in gaming.

Again, I fell pretty silly. I own every Columbia Games Harn product ever published. And yet. . . somehow. . . I utterly failed to think of HarnWorld as an inclusion on the list.

I have the player's guide to the Wilderlands (or whatever it's called, the book, not the box set), and it has very little system specific info (mainly races, IIRC), but it might be more than a page. I'll have to check tonight.

Oh, duh, and glancing at my own sig, does anyone know if the knew Road of Kings for Hyboria has much system specific stuff. I don't think the old one does, but I don't reference it ofter enough to know.

It's more than a page. There is at least one page of game stats for each of the Wilderlands races and classes.

How much more than one? It's an important question, as when I've posted this thread in the past, I have inevitably attracted publishers or fans of certain products trying to pass off books with multiple chapters of rule information for races/feats/etc as 'systemless' setting books.

There is about 8 pages altogether scattered through the first 250.

Everything except for the feats is a sidebar, which I counted as a quarter page a piece, although it generally is less than that. The feats take 4 pages iirc.

New Rules
You can find rules set apart in sidebars, or in sections of their own, as follows:

Sittik Venom p117
Lamellar Armor p131

Feats
Channel Divinity feats p233

Magic Items

Kargi Mourn p115
Mother of Pearls p132

Arg. Tough call on raising the content limit. My only worry is that doing so lets stuff like the Wilderlands Player's Guide (which is pretty clearly a D&D 3.5 book) into the 'systemless' list when it shouldn't really be there. :hmm: I'll think on it over lunch today! :)
