T&T: The Game I Want To Like

I've played T&T and D&D my entire life. Actually, until about 5 years ago, I mainly played T&T. It's not very well suited for a series or long-running campaign, but it can be fun as hell for one-shots or mini-campaigns of dungeon-delving. It definitely lends itself towards humor as opposed to serious gaming, but it does a good job at what it does because it doesn't try too hard to go either way. Sometimes my players will get done with our weekly game and say, "Next week let's play T&T." And so we do, and it's not to hard to prep for or run, let alone play.

The only real drawback for me is the horribly clunky character creation system when it comes to some of the things like height and weight. I ended up house-ruling many of the races out simply because I was sick of dealing with the math.

Compared to some of today's games, it is kind of out-dated, but I still like to revisit it often.
