I recently discovered a short taboo generation supplement called This Town of Ours by Paddy (The Salt Traders) Hutchinson, which uses d66 rolls to pick various People and Forbiddances in a newly encountered culture. It creates interesting rules like these:
In this Town, none may handle currency. The only ones exempted from this are the Elderly. Additionally, Coopers may not consume inebriants and Weavers may not wear shoes. Once found guilty, neither Oathbreakers nor Cursemongers may reveal their hair.
