Tac-Tiles: Gone for good?

I have two of the expanded sets...about enough to cover my 4' x 8' game table. My group loves them and we pretty much all agree it was the best role-playing investment any of us have made. Within our group we have a total of 4 expanded sets.

Someone in my old group had a pair of sets that we used extensively, so I never got my own. When I left that group it was one of the first things I tried to buy my own copy of, only to fail. :(

Someone, please, do these again. There's got to be a way.

I saw the ads, wanted to see one in person before I bought... and then they went away. *weeps*
I was almost in the same boat. Toward the end, there was a bad print run -- the grid is about 1/16" off in one direction, a barely noticeable slope. The guy who sold them asked if I wanted to wait for the reprint and I only just barely decided to try my luck with the discount he was offering.

There was no reprint.

Even my normally cheapskate group (or previous battle mat was glossy white pegboard) agrees that they were worth the money and then some.

i got the expanded set, and love them. They are getting old and have lost some of their erasability (years later). It was a good investment, I too would gladly purchase two more (even for more $$).

These are the best game supplements I have ever used. I love them dearly.

We keep trying to figure out an affordable way to do something similar, but it has never quite hit the top priority pole position enough to actually get it done.

If I said I would pre-order a set could you move it up your list a bit? ;)
