had a small deliverance moment.

turns out it was hunting season.

hiking thru the woods with my wife, a 50lb pack, and my dawg we came across some hunters sitting round a campfire drinking beers. they had 4 wheelers and a pull behind trailer.

kinda surreal. thinking we were miles away from civilization and yet here it was. armed and drunk.

had a blast. sore as i can be today. but still it was great.

no beer offered. we hiked as far away from them as we could.

funny thing.... in the middle of the night our dawg scared away about 4 or 5 deer.
