You do realize that you can purchase almost ALL the maps for the Hardcover books from the original artists for them. Mike Schley and Jared Blando. (the 3D map can't be bought from either Mke or Jared for Castle Ravenloft as they did not do the art. But you can find them online as a 2D version if you look hard enough (player versions) that can be printed out (and are free). But the only maps that are not available are from the Tales from the Yawning Portal and the Castle Ravenloft map for purchase. So despite what you stated above.. there IS in fact good maps support for the D&D 5E hardcovers. And just like Pathfinder.. you have to pay extra for them too. Only a few of the maps from TYP are not available for purchase.. and I do mean a FEW.You mean another 5e product with little to no map support? Who'd-a-thunk?!
That leaves …White Plume Mountain.
He does good maps. Great detail.There's also a fan-made one on DMs Guild.
