I love it when books have good binding. It breaks my brain that nowadays, when little indies have astounding book quality, WotC has books falling apart because of crappy glue binding. I'm sure scale is a factor, but you CAN print a large number of books with good binding.

I would expect that price is… not that WotC cannot afford it, they rather not spend the money and have more profit
