Tauric Human/Celestial Lion, ECL 13

I'm working on a tauric human/celestial lion character, currently ECL 13 with 11 Hit Dice. I've been wondering--would the special qualities (DR, energy resistance) and special attack (smite evil) from the celestial template increase to match the character's 11 Hit Dice (eg. from DR 5/magic to DR 10/magic), or would they be 'frozen' at the celestial lion's 5-Hit-Dice level because of the tauric template?

For what its worth... I made a something almost identical for my group a session ago... When I saw this thread I wondered if one of my players had posted or if I did and had just forgotten about it

What Piratecat said. Unless a template specifically references only class or racial hit dice, include all of them in such calculations.
