"Her ain lugs aren't. Hnh. Special." Jamilee's having more and more trouble keeping her voice together - it's a barely intelligible rasp, interspersed with raw hacks, which she produces with audible effort as she moves over to her invited seat. "She's hrrrrgngood at guessing hrrright, though, and hnnnnneeded it, now. But please. Continue."

Jerrand looks a little uncomfortable having all eyes at the table on him, he takes a bite of his potatoes to give him a minute to gather himself. "Sela the great Stone has been the center of my families beliefs for 100 years now," Jerrand seems to be staring off into space as if he is remembering someone or something. "As far back as my father's father's father," he contiunes, "He was a builder and help build most of the great northern cities, but I am not like the men in my families past. So I have set out to bring glory to Sela's name in other ways."

"Ah see. Ah kin ken nae fittin' in. Dae ye ken, Ah used tae teach th' bairns aboot this and that, stories an' legends an' aw, but afair that, Ah used tae tak' caur ay th' goats oop on top ay th' brae, herdin'. It didne suit me."

Gildrim engages in a small tug of war with the raven for a particularly choice piece of meat. "Min' ma fingers, ye riddy great spyug."

In a corner, a young man shoots up from a doze, as if startled by something. "Grendath's joke!" he eyes the scenery as if it had changed enormously while he was dozing. "Either I drank too much, or nothing interesting happened again... and I'm not sure which I'd prefer to be true..."

Tor, who had been sitting quietly during the whole exchange, scooted her chair a hair closer to Gildrim. Jamilee's odd manners put her on edge.
"So Jerrand, how are you planning to bring glory to Sela's name?"
When the young man in the corner started, Tor had a small grin.
"Sounds like someone just woke up from their nap.

Jerrand looks alittle bemused at the man who just woke and then looks around the room catching all the folk as they eat, drink, and enjoy each others company. He then gazes at Gildrim and the ravens tug of war."Where there is conflict," Jerrand tears a piece of meat and fat from his plate " I hope to bring community." He tosses the meat at the birds feet, it hurriedly goes for the meat letting Gildrim have the piece they were fighting over. "This is at the core of the beliefs of Sela, that community builds a better place for everyone." He gazes and smiles as the bird and dwarf both enjoy their meal. Looking up at Tor he winks, " I guess I had to start somewhere."

"Ah've bin sent intae th' warld by th' laird ay mah clan tae learn abit th' other influential folk an' their ways. Humans, an' gnomes, an' halflin's, an' orcs, an'... an' lizardfolk, Ah think he said," Gildrim offers. "Ah'm wanderin' abit till Ah think Ah hae learned somethin' useful tae tak' back."

Tor smiles at Jerrand and turns to Gildrim.
"Well, you're sitting next to a few members of the races you mentioned. Perhaps you'll learn useful tonight, Gildrim."

The previously dozing man shakes his head to get rid of his sleepiness, and straightens his silvery chain shirt. Then he approaches the active table. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply anyone here was boring, just... I'm Semabin ai Harudan, of the Sairundani Zephyr tribe." he introduces himself.
