True true, but maybe with the proper spells*grin* Though you have pick a poor time to show up here, with so many leaving with the girl, I fear it will be rather dull for awhile.
"Bah, I kin use rest las. Been ridin hard fer many a day. Sides, I'm sure somethin'll turn up soon enough."

A loud yawn suddenly emanates from the stairs leading to the rooms above the inn, and a young man steps into the common room. He is dressed in black and blue, his long hair tied back into a ponytail. At his belt are a wide variety of weapons, though the most prominent among them are a whip.

He raises his left hand, index and middle fingers extending, and waves at those in the inn.

"Mornin', all, m'name's Troi Delmontes - that'd be Troi wi' an 'i', not a 'y'. I'm a ranger, an' a student a th' habits a critters."

He takes a seat at the bar, but not before taking a few moments to stretch.

The large halfling calls out "Aye there Troi. I'm Cade Jenner. Welcome to back to the land o the wakin'"

Good morning Mr. Delmontes. I am Elise, an abjurer, and this is my familiar pointing to the tropical bird Ligeia

How long have you been here?

Cade Jenner
"Aye there Troi. I'm Cade Jenner. Welcome to back to the land o the wakin'"

Troi nods to the halfling. "Thanks fer th' welcome."

Elise
How long have you been here?

Troi shrugs. "Dunno. Last thing I remember, I was sittin' around waitin' ta die at th' hands a some bandits me an' some friends ran into on th' road 'tween here an' Rivenblight. Guess they found me, though, since I'm here an' not dead..." He shrugs. "How 'bout yerself?"

I arrived just a few days ago. O, almost forgot, their recruiting warriors outside. I would have gone but the recruiter didn't seem to be looking for mages

"A few days ago, eh?" Troi asks, then looks at the door over his shoulder. He is motionless for a moment, then shrugs. "Warriors, eh? I'm not th' type, really... more int'rested in a more balanced group, y'know? I like havin' a mage ta back me up, was real nice in th' few things I've gone an' done lately - an' I like havin' a healer around. Any other jobs ya heard 'bout?"

Tandi d'Lune, Human Monk 1

A woman opened the doors of the inn, shaking the dust off of her black cloak that had collected from the sparring matches occuring outside. What a strange place, she thought. Surveying the room, she saw a few patrons by the bar chatting and a few others at tables enjoying their drinks. Quickly remembering what her aunt told her about the place, she approached the bar, getting the attention of the man who would presumably be Joe.

"Um.. you must be Joe. My aunt told me that I should tell you my name. It's Ar... I mean Tandi. Tandi d'Lune. " She took a step back as he reached for her hand to kiss it.

"Only kidding darlin'." Then in the loudest voice possible, he spoke her name. "Folks, this is Tandi Tandi d'Lune. She's new in town, so be nice to her." Joe then winked at her as he went back to polishing a glass for the umpteenth time. The rest of the patrons looked up to get a good look at her. Her long black hair covered a part of her face, but not enough to hide the strikingly ocean blue eyes that surveyed the room for a quiet place to sit down. Sighing, she set down her backpack and removed her cloak, revealing a grey and black cotton outfit that was cinched at the wrists and ankles. Also now visible were several daggers strapped to her body in various places. Deciding that the bar was the best place to be, she stayed where she was.

"Aye, fight all ye want, but ya gonna need a softer touch at some point, an a healer never hurt no one. I ain't heard bout any jobs, but sure there be some coming up soon."

The halfling turns to Tandi "Hey there las. Welcome to the tavern. I'm Cade Jenner, but ya kin call me Cade."
