A young man comes into the Red Dragon Inn, followed by an older man. The young man is dwarfed by his companion, who is simply huge. The two sit down at a table by themselves, and just watch the people in the bar, speaking to themselves.

Laughing, Kamdar winks at Dagummit, "A fine lady indeed! Not quite my style, you see." He starts a melodic tune (Perform +6):

I like a maiden who has no need of the shavin'
And lips you can embrace and get wrapped in her lace
She doesn't have to be skinny but eyes like a penny
Because even when they use a thimble, their eyes have a twinkle

I might be a romantic but such girls make me frantic
With a laugh that 'twould melt because you knew everything she felt.
And whenever we have a chance, we'd go to a party and dance!"

Kamdar breaks into a silly jig and then stops when the two newcomers come in. "Hello you two -- don't you know you have to introduce yourselves when you enter? Joe's rules. Why don't you join us for a drink?"

Hello, the name's Levin. Hey, Joe, a mug of ale over here."
Levin sits down with the others and starts drinking.
He mutters under his breath "Finally, looks like i'll be able to stay somewhere without those thugs trying to kill me.

Kamdar's eyes widen as he hears Levin speak -- and then he shakes it off and takes a drink of some ale. "Who's trying to kill you and why? Is there a story behind this?"

Jann turns and follows the conversation between Kamdar and Levin, though he still joins in the choruses with Dagummit.

Dagummit, obviously past the point of no return, calls for another drink. He doesn't make it through this one, though, as he passes out, snoring loudly.

"I got in a fight with the son of the mayor of the town I'm from. The kid hauked out his familys heirloom sword, and I ended up shattering the thing. That kid didn't know anything about swordplay at all so i just broke the sword. Since that night, about once a month, these goons show up and try to kill me or kidnap me. So I've been on the run, trying to find somewhere they won't find me."
Levin downs his ale and calls for another one.

Kamdar seems engrossed in Levin's story, "Wow, fascinating story. I guess one should be careful around family of political powers. Did you know who his father was? And these thugs follow you wherever you go?"

The young man and his large companion seem to exchange sharp words, when you hear the young man say, "But this is my last chance, I don't have a choice!" Then, embarassed, sits down and continues to drink.

Kamdar raises and eyebrow and looks at the two people in the corner, "Something the matter? Seems like there are a lot of stories of late."
