"Greetings Lasair," Ilion returns. "Just spent a long time on the road, came up from the south. A good night's sleep will do the trick," Ilion says in response to Michael. He takes another sip of his ale. "Though, I fear I am at a disadvantage. You all know my name, but I know none but Lady Lasair's."

Thoughts:
Ilion did do enough cultural studies to recognize Lasair's greeting as something beyond common courtesy. He puts those words away for later. Share water, hopes and futures.

Another wandering soul finds his way to a drink

A traveler in well worn clothes walks slowly into the inn, glancing about as if looking for someone. His figure hints at a fairly large elf till he flicks his hair as he looks about, revealing obviously human ears. He seems travel weary, yet seems in high spirits, with a warm smile cracking onto his face.

After apparently not finding what he was looking for, he calls to the barkeep for a drink. He walks up to the bar, grabs the drink, hoists it up in toast and proclaims "To great travel, and grand experiences." Smiling, he finds a seat at an occupied table with an empty chair, and says to it's occupants as he sits "Tis refreshing to have a drink among fellow travelers. My name is Vanitri" He leans back in his chair, smiling, and takes in the reactions of the other patrons.

Michael puts out a thick-fingered hand.
"Michael Grannion. Builder of Sela. Just came in from the west, pretty much out of nowhere."

Jaan Saresaar of the Osilia

Jaan acknowledges the greetings and responses of those in the bar with a quiet nod of acceptance.

"I didn't expect more, but I had hoped ..." he says quietly. He rubs his eyes for a moment, before straightening up with a slow drawn breath. For a moment he is motionless, gazing into the distance.

"Well, so it is."

Ilion takes Michael's offered hand gives it a few akward shakes, it's obvious that he is unused to such a form of greeting. "Pleased to meet you Michael of House Grannion. You should visit my home one day. The Sister of Stone has a large following there."

"Welcome Vanitri," Ilion greets the newcomer. "I am Ilion of House Daver." He offers his is hand, just as Michael did.

Anton's eyes light up in surprised, "No, I did not introduce myself. I apologize. I am Anton Brandovold, expert with a bow. My accent may be at times difficult, but I ask for patience." Anton takes a sip of his drink. "And hello to you too, Vanitri."

Lost....

Rosalynn was bored. She was tired of walking. I wonder if I could find someone to buy me a drink... She thought as she scanned the many people in the Inn.

She stood near the door, putting on her lost little girl look. Maybe someone would notice her....

*Lasair sees another girl and looks up with a smile*

"Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn, sister," Lasair says to the lost-looking girl, "I am not this place's Holdmistress, but please, enter with us and share our water and shade. You need not fear yourself lost here, as none have travelled as far as I, I think, and even I have been welcomed in this place."

Vanitri Duskrider

Vanitri smiles and shakes Ilion's hand. "Well met, Ilion. Tis always good to share a drink with a fellow traveler. Though I don't believe I've heard of your house. Perhaps you could share a little about it, tell us a bit about your corner of the world."

Vanitri continues to gaze around at the Inn's patrons, taking in the diverse crowd. "I hear that the Inn is the place in these parts to find something adventerous to do. Seems a little calm here to me, but perhaps things get a bit more exciting later in the evening." He shrugs, "Certaintly is nice to have a bit of a rest at the moment."

Vanitri grins when he sees Rosalynn enter. "I didn't expect to see you again for quite a while, though I had a hunch you might know were I was going before I did." Vanitri waves Rosalynn over and pushes out a chair. "Come on over and join us. No one over here bites. Or at least they haven't yet," he chuckles.
