[Tavern Thread] The Dunn Wright Inn

A short figure enters the establishment singing a uplifitng melody to herself. She looks to be a gnome of some beauty and carries herself equally well. She nods to the dwarven woman, "Merry met."

She then makes her way over to the other gnome and hops up on a chair at the table, "Hello Pari, looking over your gains from the kobolds I see." She smiles, "I was just out getting to know this small town and looking into some less constricting armors... Besides our gnomish talents, I have discovered that I can cast other magics. It is like they just were there when I woke. I am not too sure what to make of them yet."

Heinrich is on his third sausage with a bite in mid air when he hears the Gnome speak of knowing magic without much more then just waking with the knowledge.

"Pardon me lady, I could not help over hearing you. I am Heinrich Schreibersen, wizard apprintice. You just woke with the knowledge, with out studieing?"

"Hello Pari, looking over your gains from the kobolds I see." She smiles, "I was just out getting to know this small town and looking into some less constricting armors... Besides our gnomish talents, I have discovered that I can cast other magics. It is like they just were there when I woke. I am not too sure what to make of them yet."

"Hey, Zelena! Yeah, I've been looking it over but can't really decide anything about the worth. See what you can make of it?"

[sblock=OOC] Well don't ask me I don't know how much they are worth either. :p I guess you could take 20 if you wish.

Please join me in the LPF OOC to figure out guidelines for this please. [/sblock]

Fury swaggers into the Dunn Wright and his eyes quickly scan the patrons until they come to rest upon the pair of gnomes. He crosses the common room and pulls out a chair so that he can sit. Morning, mates." He grins. "Looking over our loot, I see." He opens the brass coffer and idly peers inside. "Any idea what this is worth?" He closes the coffer with a click and frowns.

"I'm not sure what it's worth but it looks old. Maybe if we could find a jeweler..." He laughs. "Or an honest fence."

A smiling man opens the door of the Dunn Wright Inn and strides in. Wearing a tricorn hat and a heavy leather coat that hangs down to his knees, his clothes are still dusty and damaged in places. He spots a few of his companions sorting through the plundered treasures. He moves over to join them and plunks down in a nearby chair. "Well that was quite eventful. I have to say Farmer Jezz's wife knows how to cook! I haven't had that fine of a meal in quite some time. I wonder if those little reptilian monsters will ever return?"

Fury chuckles. "I don't think I'll be able to eat for a week!" He frowns at the mention of the kobolds. "Well, we didn't get them all. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has to go beat 'em back again sometime." He shakes his head. "Like duckweed; no matter how much you pull it up it always grows back." He picks up the coffer and holds it out to Tahn. So, what do you make of this? Think it's worth much?"

"Well, at least Jezz knows where the place and what the next fellows have to expect."

He turns a critical eye to the coffer that Fury shows him. Turning it over a few times in his hands he studies it carefully with his keen eyes.

"Looks like it's worth whatever someone will pay for it..." He grins broadly.

[sblock=OOC] Did anyone see my treasure numbers here? If they check out I will add them to the first post of the game and you can add them to your characters.

20 for Appraise check is a hit right on the button. Coffer worth 150gp. But is part of the "overall" gp award. [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Yes, I saw them. Thanks for the link ;). Your numbers look fine to me. If no one objects I'll have Fury take the coffer as part of his portion of the loot. If no one wants the comb then we could say Fury sells it for the group and gives them their share. That way we could move on to shopping or the next adventure.[/sblock]

"So how much if I take it as part of my treasure? I'll pay you all what it's worth." He motions at the bags of coins they salvaged. "I think we pulled enough out of that odd keep to cover it."
