[Tavern] Tower's Shard 2011

A dark haired man, wild hair and something ild in his eyes opens he tavern door. The barman flinches as though he recognises him and the memory isn't pleasant.
However the man doesn't make a seen, which if the barman's face is anything to go by, is fairly surprising. Silently he walks to an empty table and slumps heavily into a chair.
"So where now Moses Black hand?" he mutters touching one of his arms which is strangely curled in against his chest with the other hand. He drops his forehead heavily down onto the table with a loud 'clonk' and closes his eyes. His lips seem to be moving constantly perhaps in prayer.
When asked what he wants to drink by the barmaid, who keeps her distance, all he manages is a head movement that resembles a nod, if you can imagine a nodding head pressed to a table. The tankard of ale she brings however remains untouched.

Right behind Moses is another man. "I am kal'Tarron Alrahain," he announces to the bartender. "Is there any mail for me?"
kal'Tarron's most striking features are his purple skin and silver eyes, which mark him as a Deva to all but the most ignorant observers. On close observation, you might observe a tuft or two of short, blue hair peeking out from under a large skullcap.
Coloration aside, his physical attributes are all very much average - he doesn't look strong enough to wield the greataxe that is slung across his back - yet when you see him hold it, the weight seems to vanish from it - he can wield it like a much larger man might - powerful chops and slashes, but also with clever fients and an almost supernatural ability to anticipate and deflect his foes' attacks.
If you get a close look at his hands, you'll notice a web of scars across his palms - not that unusual on someone who works with blades, but these scars seem far too numerous for one as young as he is.
kal'Tarron wears no armor - instead he is clad in a robe of scarlet, with white trim that is stained a crimson/pink. A golden amulet, bearing the horned symbol of Balinor hangs from his throat - seeing it suffuses all those who respect the sovereign host with a slight sense of hopeful energy

An elf sitting at the bar doesn't even bother to turn around as the new comer come into the tavern. He murmurs a few words "new blood." before taking a sip of his mug of ale.
