[Tavern] Tower's Shard 2011

A woman with long dark hair, obviously a shifter walks into the tavern. She is followed by a good sized black bear who happens to be wet. The first thing the bear does is shake itself at the door, getting the surrounding area wet. Since it is not raining outside, those who know the neighborhood would guess that the fountain down the street is not as clean as it once was.
The woman is in Wyvernscale armor. A bit of a rarity around here. She also has a large shield on her back, but that too is unusual. It looks like a black pane of glass set in a metal frame. Her longsword has bloodstones set in the hilt and her scabbard and backpack look well used.
The bear sniffs around the room, moving away from some of the "non-living" patrons and finally settles near the fireplace.
The woman stops a passing waitress "Bring some food and ale to that back table and throw a chunk of meat to the bear." she says. The waitress gulps a bit at that last bit, looks nervously at the bear, and then quickly heads to the kitchen. The shifter then walks to the table, puts her back to the wall and watches the other patrons.
