4e monk is really underestimated. The other subclass abilities are more fluff than anything. The monk chassis is already in a good shape after tasha. Even just using stunning strike and the specially attuned weapon means 1 ki point grants you 3 attacks with 1d10+dex modifier damage (a long sword or a battle axe) and the possibility to stun.Eeeeh ... I'd rather they just get some worthwhile class abilities ontop of their additional spells known.
Take utility powers that don´t use too many points and you are good to go.
Since it is a 4e monk, they should get a few encounter and a few daily powers. So how about elemental points? They are like ki points but can only be used to fuel 4e powers. How many are needed do you think? Equal to class level, but only refiling after a long rest?

On a more serious note, give just proficiency bonus free uses per day. Maybe with level 11+ powers costing 2 uses instead of 1. That means 2 to 3 free fireballs per day (which are a bit worse than ki fueled fireballs, because they don´t allow for an extra attack if you don´t upcast it with ki-points)
