Techno-fantasy or Future/sciencefantasy settings

Most of the games mention are space opera (which begs players to space travel) or still on earth which I do not want to do and I don't want to create my own, to much for me to do, if its the last resort. That's why I'm looking for already published game line(s).

I am willing to go outside D20 but the above statement still stands.

Hm,. that will be hard.
Most futuristic games are either on earth or involve space travel. I don't know of any premade SciFi/magi crossover system which doesn't use either.

Dark Heresy (WH40K) maybe, but that is not really high magic.
Space travel is possible but its not very easy to do as only a special type of person can travel through the warp safely so its easy to just assume that the party will stay on one planet (simply lock down space travel with a warp storm).
Its also not that high magic. It involves psionic and demons but those are persecuted.

Urbis fits to some degree - it has plenty of "magical technologies". However, it's mostly modeled after the Age of Industrialization instead of the modern day or the future, so I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for.

Mechanical Dream. It isn't remotely d20, isn't set on Earth, has magic and magic technology and there isn't any humans. In fact the PC races live on a different scale from much of the life on the planet (compared with a emu like bird, they would be a few mm tall). It is extreme fantasy and takes a lot to get the GM and players into playing mode (if you can do it, it is worth the effort).

Lesser Shades of Evil is on Earth, but not our Earth. It does have humans and all kinds of mutant critters. The technology is so advanced that it seems like magic (and is much more flexable than d20 magic).

There are a few good reviews of both on rpg.net.

iron kingdoms, perhaps?

it got guns, steamjacks, electricity and is way cool!!!
if you don´t know check out: www.privateerpress.com

I thought this and Dragonmech (which did not have both firearms as well from what I could tell) but does not have flying ships as canon which what I am looking for. Also looking for futuristic in tech, fashion and society without over shadowing the fantasy.

well, you don´t got airships in the canon, but the IK have a welldeveloped railway and it wouldn´t be a wide stretch to include airships if your gamers aren´t that canonfixated.

or you could advance the timeline a few hundred years and there you go...

i can only recommend to have a look at the campaignguide, its relativly crunchfree and a great read!

I'm not getting what you're looking for, then. Sounds like Dragonstar is too scifi for you, but Dragonmech is too fantasy, and Shadowrun is set on Earth.

So, I don't know what in the world to suggest. Maybe you could narrow down your requirements a bit more?

I wished our book was out then, because it seems closer to what you may be looking for. It has high tech and hard fantasy. You can have dragons and goblins and magic, walk over the crest of a hill, and see the bastion wall of a futuristic city. We don't have the clichéd flying boats...but we DO have zeppelins.

Zeppelins :)

Here is an unfinished sketch I have posted NOWHERE else.

Just for those reading this post...
