Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Don't forget Casey's Cricket club ...

That thing's definitely got a d10 (or more) of bludgeoning damage.

When my roomate and I found this thread last night, we immediately pulled out TMNG and watched it :)

Cool stats man! :D

The Sound of a Thousand Tortured Souls

This is possibly the funniest, and the saddest, thing I have ever read. I remember when the fad died... I prayed it would stay dead.

I remember just how addictive it was as a kid, and how simple I thought it was when I got to be like 12. And then, the RPG... it was painful... :D

However, beyond my biting sarcasm and bitterness about a childhood mega-craze, your characters look fairly solid... I just can't believe someone went through the trouble to do a Turtle Moreau... :D

Who is Casey Jones? I remember Krang, but I don't remember him...

:P

Casey figured more prominently in the comics than in the cartoon.

My opinion; I was a big Turtles fan, but not blind to the shortcomings of the cartoons and movies.
The first "mini-series" of cartoons was actually quite good. The music, animation, voice-acting, story. These were all pretty good. It even had a more serious, gritty feel. After that it was virtually 100% crap.

The Mirage comics (the real deal) were not sold in my area :( , though I do have four of the graphic novels. These are a far cry from the stuff the kiddies saw on the tube.
The Archie comics version wasn't completely awful, and for a stretch late in the series was actually pretty enjoyable, except for a few notable exceptions.
The movies were complete dreck. Actually, except for a few things, the first movie was pretty amazing at the time. The third was pretty much trash, the second one should have resulted in the severe beatings of numerous people...

I'd still pay cash money to see a movie that faithfully follows the look and feel of the graphic novels.

Keep up the good work daTim!

I could kick myself for not grabbing the two big TMNT rpg books when I had the chance.

Leonardo rules... ;)

I guess I can include character write ups, as it seems most people are more familiar with the cartoon and movies than the original Comic... edits to come.
