Hello there.
According to page 264 in the PHB you have a certain chance of arriving on target with a Teleport spell depending on the circumstances, which is quite reasonable. You have a pretty good chance if you are familiar with the target; on the other hand you are less likely to succeed if you have only been there once. If you have a description of the area you only have roughly 50% chance of succeeding.
Now I wonder... Let's say I (the wizard) have never been to a certain location. On the other hand my friend (the monk) are very familiar with the area. Can I improve my chance of arriving "on target" by studying my own illusion (that is, by creating an illusion of the area with an illusion type spell) of the area that my friend will help me alter until the area looks exactly as my friend remembers?
