I once had a PC nasmed Mendoza who was primarily a knifethrower but who also fought with a razor-edged cape (hard tips and razorwire along the bottom edge, could be used to trip, entangle and 1d4 slashing damage)
Steel Rake - (used guisarme stats) based on the Steel Rake used by Chu Pa-Chieh (Pigsy of Journey to the West fame) - anyone know what its suppose to be called?
Battle Spade - also inspired by the Steel Rake (and me being bored after digging the garden) is the Battle Spade - yes a modified Spade (or Shovel for large PCs) with a sharpe flat blade and weighted butt used by Hobgoblins (ie Klingons)
Yo-Yo Heavy wooden Yo-Yo with wire cord bludgeoning weapon can be used to trip
Battle Kite - I have a Kitemaster Prc who builfd and enchant kites. The Battle Kite is a sharpe edged razor wire weapon that for most people serves as a shield (and can used as a spiked gauntlet). In the hands of a Kite Master however it can be thrown on a flat trajectory to do slashing damage , the Razorwire can be used as a Garotte, to trip and of course to cut the strings of other kites - or ropes etc (which is their original purpose)
