Unless the lawful good mother and chaotic evil father produced a true neutral child.
Although its possible that the [Evil] and [Good] types would still interfere.
But for the general case (such as dragons), it would be up to the DM. Perhaps all such unions would always result in twins, one of each type. Could make for some interesting campaign developements.
