I doubt it. They're not working at cross-purposes - they're working in parallell. Cromartie is there to kill John Connor. T-1000 chick, as well as quite a few other terminators, are there to insure Skynet gets created and/or mess things up for the future resistance.

I... don't know how I feel about that last episode. I don't think I enjoyed myself all that much, though.
I think my problem might be that there's too many Terminators. (I know! How can there ever be too many Terminators?!) If they just become a "Terminator of the week" series, then I don't know how long I'll bother with it. There is a very high possibility of making Terminators boring - like it was in that past episode.
Found out that the talky-Terminator-chick is a T-1001. Nice that they thought of an upgrade and how it might work (talky-talky *ahem*).
The difference between S1 and S2 is absolutely shocking to me... and not in a good way.
