Just wickedly good; it´s now official, Summer Glau IS real a Terminator, and a pretty hot one.The wheelchair guy - man, what a performance.
This has been a good week; Dexter - pretty much the best thing you can see at the moment, with a stellar episode, Fringe rocking as usual, and this little gem. Wow, just wow! I´m a happy guy, what can I say :)

The positions of the stars on the map, pretty much the fingerprints on the wall?

It was a decent episode, but nothing earth-shattering.

As an aside, people are speculating on TWoP that this episode was actually supposed to air before last week's. That's why Sarah is so calm about the dots in the beginning despite her going nuts, and why John buys that Riley's foster parents are crazy, before he meets them. Also, John is investigating companies with the three dots, he finds one in last week's episode.

I liked that they focused on two stories only - it allowed them to do a lot (pay attention, Heroes!).

Cameron's story was really well acted, despite the lack of action. Guy In Wheelchair nailed it out of the park.

John's story was less interesting, but it served to underscore his separation from humanity. Perhaps this is what they're trying to save John from, and why Riley is here. He needs an anchor in humanity.

I did enjoy the ep. a lot, but one thing nagged my wife and I: If Cameron is so concerned about security, why does she leave when the humans are most vulnerable? I realize we wouldn't have had the cool story, but still....

I enjoyed this episode.

- Cameron makes friends with guy in wheelchair and seems to care. Wheelchair guy disappears, Cameron makes new friends. I think this is the story-telling equivalent of the "Uncanny Valley" effect in SFX - you nearly believe she's a real, human person with human feelings. And then she does something to throw you off.
And the entire interplay between the two characters was very well acted and enjoyable to see.

- Terminator send a few decades back too much. Intriguing idea. And like the machine he is, he does everything to ensure to do his job work. And of course a Terminator makes a kick-ass bank robber in the 20s. ;)

- The storyline with Riley and John wasn't particularly interesting to me, though it was funny seeing him failing at simulated combat on the video console.

Very much looking forward to next week's episode.

I sure hope there'll at least be one more season before T4 comes out; with the potential actors strike, it might not pan out.

yeah, pretty good for filler. could've used more Derek.

I don't get the accusations of filler. TSCC is 90%+ episodic, and 10% at most story arc. Most of the episodes are going to be filler from that stand point.

By that standard, the enter series run of Star Trek TOS is filler.

Some of the best episodes of any show I've ever seen have been filler - they're character studies, we get to learn more about one or more characters, what makes them tick, what their motivations and likes and dislikes are, and so on.
