Howfor? Is that two questions?

As for How, (dice=1)20(/dice), replace () with [], will roll 1d20. You can go up to 3 dice, and I believe 30 faces.

For what I have tested it? I wanted to use it as a Roll Initiative roll call in a PbP game.

Yes, a few other things would be:
No bonuses can be added, as far as I am aware. Also, only one roll can be done per post. Multiple rolls in a post always have the same result, since only the first result is saved.
