"Well, since this is our test, I would suggest we attempt to handle it ourselves before turning them over. Honestly, I just want to know what this stuff says, both this parchment and this book we just found." And with that, Jasper begins taking out the parchment from his backpack.

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

"Hmm, Devlin, should we interrogate these... things... here, or should we try to drag them back to the campsite first? If we take them back there, we'd have the wizard close by, but it might mess with the magic around that clearing. What should we do?"

Malen, Dwarf Wiz1

Malen grunts impatiently. "Let's just kill one," he says in Common, using his crossbow to point at the goblin still awake and aware, "and take the other. No need for two." He then repeats it in the Goblin tongue, making sure to let the tip of the bolt linger over the captive.

Devlin Magruder, human rogue 3

"Sounds good to me, Malen. I don't see any reason to wait, either, Luthiel"

With that, Devlin unceremoniously drops the unconscious goblinoid he was carrying and draws his dagger. He takes a step toward the conscious goblinoid, dagger held before him, "Only question I have is, which one do we kill and which one do we question?"

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

"Now now, let's not be too hasty here," says Luthiel with a wink at Devlin when the goblinoid isn't looking. "I'm sure this one will be quite happy to help us out... won't you? If I promise not to let them hurt you?" He smiles encouragingly at the creature.
[sblock]OOC: Yay! I never get to be the good cop! ;) [/sblock]

Garrit Kelspire, Paladin 1 of Hyrag

As Garrit is cleaning his longsword he notices Luthiel and Devlin beginning to interrogate the goblin. He goes over to Luthiel and says in his ear, "Interrogating them is one thing, but we cannot kill them. That is not the right way of things. We must find another way to deal with them."

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

Luthiel is unwilling to argue the point at hte moment, so he just waves a hand placatingly at Garrit as he continues to urge the goblinoid to save its own skin by starting to talk.

The goblin cringes and trembles in fear as the various members of the group threaten him. When Luthiel shows a tiny bit of leniency, the goblin turns its ugly head toward him. "No... talk... like you... I... Please... no kill I! No kill I!"
