Devlin Magruder, human rogue 3

Devlin hurries over to the stricken elf. "What happened to you? And where are the others?" Devlin then unloads and slings his crossbow so he can help support Luthiel.

Making sure not to leave Garrit alone, Jasper checks to see if he received any injuries from the weasel that jumped into him. After seeing that he is OK, Jasper waits for his command, and follows Garrit wherever he goes. "So, Garrit, where do we go now? I don't really wanna be here right now, but I'll follow you where you go, and we do have many more places to check for creatures."

Getting no response from Luthiel, Devlin assumes the worst.

"Well, whatever their fate, they'll have to wait. You're still alive at least. Let's get you back to our cleric friend and see if we can't do something about your wounds." Devlin then procedes to half carry, half drag the elf back to the camp.

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

Luthiel snarls "They're all right. I'll make it back to camp myself. Go check on them or something." With that, he wrenches his arm free from Devlin and storms off down the trail, as well as he can.

Devlin Magruder, human rogue 3

"Hmmph, I didn't know elves could be so grumpy," Devlin mutters to himself before turning back and heading toward where he last heard the sounds of combat.

ooc: nothing personal toward you, scout. I was just trying to jumpstart this thread again after a couple days of inactivity.

Garrit Kelspire, Paladin 1 of Hyrag

If there is anywhere else to check, Garrit says go there, otherwise...

Garrit says, "Looks like we should return to camp and report our discovery. Then we go from there."

I assume by "anywhere else to check" you meant the small clearing, as opposed to the entire forest. Because obviously, there's plenty left to explore in the forest.

Each person's trek back to the main clearing is uneventful. Things are exactly as they left them.

OOG: If it seems as though I have been absent from this thread, I haven't. I will generally try to let you players direct your own actions and I'll simply roll the dice, if you catch my meaning. What I'm trying to say is that I won't actually post unless someone does something which requires a ruling, a roll, or if I just feel like it. So don't wait for me, ask for me. Assume that I will not post on my own volition. Catching my drift here? Combat's a little different, of course. Exceptions exceptions. I think you all understand. I ramble. On with the game!

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

OOC: no problem, I was kinda busy but I don't mind in the least

Luthiel gets bck to the camp and sits by the fire, still bleeding from the legs. "Aargh, this hurts! Who knew weasels were so aggressive? And they've got really sharp teeth, too!"
When Devlin gets back to camp, Luthiel will wave him over. "Look, Devlin, about earlier... I didn't mean to snap at you there, but I was hurting. In fact, I'm still not sure about this leg- what use will I be to anyone if I can't even walk?" he finishes bitterly.

"It's not a problem, Luthiel. I'm sure I wouldn't be in the best of moods if a giant rodent used my leg as a chew toy, either," Devlin tells the young elf.

Once everyone has gathered around, Devlin tells Luthiel, Garrit, and Jasper what they found. "There's definitely something more than "evil beasts" going around in the forest. The creatures we ran into were definitely intelligent. In addition to using tents and utensils, I found what appears to be a sample of their written language." Devlin motions toward Malen, "did you have any luck with that?"
