Tests and Trials (Manzanita Judging)

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

Luthiel fires an arrow at the goblinoid in the tree, figuring that, since it hasn't seen him yet, he might as well take care of it. Then he moves into the clearing, hoping for clear shots on whoever may be left.
[sblock]Fires one arrow at the goblinoid in the tree, attack bonus +3, damage 1d8, plus 1d6 if the goblinoid is flat-footed. Then a move action to J8.[/sblock]

Garrit's mighty swipe is easily dodged by the small, nimble goblin. It cackles, taunting the tall man and gets ready to make another attack on Cryndo.

Jasper moves in cautiously, drawing little attention from the furied creatures.

Luthiel's bolt flies into the tree branches and completely misses its target, again by so much that the goblin doesn't even realize there is someone firing at it from Luthiel's direction.

Cryndo, still flanked, takes a swipe with his mace at the creature in front of him. It moves out of the way quickly and prepares its dagger for a quick stab at the cleric.

Devlin's turn.

Devlin Magruder, human rogue 3

Devlin quickly drops his crossbow and draws his rapier as he moves forward to where he saw the goblinoids fall.

[sblock]Devlin moves forward to Q8, holding his attack since no enemies are next to that location.[/sblock]

OOC:[sblock]I hate to do this, but I could swear you said that goblin #4 was already put down by a crit from Malen - true or no?[/sblock]

OOC: My! You are absolutely right, Enkhidu. I didn't update the map when it happened, and promptly forgot about it. It didn't affect gameplay, yet, I think, so thanks for telling me early. I'm not perfect, I guess. Oh well, I was bound to make a mistake once in my life. =P

The goblins at Devlin's feet twitch and moan, clearly still alive, but in no condition for combat. The one in the tree climbs ever higher in a panicked retreat. Only one goblin is still up and fighting, and it shrieks gleefully as it attacks Cryndo. This time, though, the cleric is no longer distracted by two of the creatures, thanks to Malen, and easily dodges the goblin's dagger strike.

Malen's turn.

Malen, Dwarf Wiz1

Malen watches the now embattled goblin carefully, looking for a clear shot.

[sblock]OOC: Malen readies an action to fire at the first goblin he has an unobstructed view on (meaning no cover and/or concealment).[/sblock]

OOC to Enkhidu: Would that also include fighting in melee combat? The only two goblins left standing are the one in the tree and the one fighting Garrit. I'll assume for now that you won't fire into melee.

Malen, seeing no clear shots at any foe, holds his shot for a more opportune moment.

Garrit's turn.

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

Luthiel, now thoroughly tired of missing everything, lets loose one more shot. Then he stows his bow, intending to draw his sword and check the tents to make sure there are no more goblinoids in hiding.

Jasper now charges into battle, quarterstaff in hand, and attempts to deliver a quick blow to his foe.

[sblock]Jasper is not actually charging, so no +2 on his attack and -2 on his AC. Just a regular move and attack. He's trying to put down to goblin, but make sure it remains alive, just not standing.

+0 attack/ 1d4-1 damage
19 AC (Mage Armor)[/sblock]
