Thank the gods!!!! A Warlord for KotS!

We're playing KotS this weekend, and by some crazy twist of events and a measure of extraordinary luck I'm not DMing. I'm going to be playing in an ongoing D&D campaign for the first time since high school (which is more than 10 years). Being the consummate swell guy that I am, I decided to let everyone else pick characters first which left me stuck with the Cleric.

Don't get me wrong, the rules and stats for the Cleric were really cool, but I just can't stand them (you'll notice in Violet Dawn that we don't even have Clerics). So I went from being overly excited to meh until today when WotC posted the Warlord. I really love this character! So much so, that it would probably have been my first pick unless there was a Ranger (which is a shame BTW). In any case, I can't wait to get started.

To try and salvage this thread and make it somewhat relevant, has anyone tried the Warlord yet? I'm assuming Tactical Presence and Tactical Assault stack with one another?

Why wouldn't they? One's damage, one's attack bonus, isn't it?

Yep. I see no reason why they shouldn't, but then again we don't have any info on how powers stack.

I would imagine stacking works just like 3.xE. Named bonuses don't stack with bonuses of the same name but do with other named bonuses, unnamed bonuses do.

Make sure to get teh updated version, the one with Inspiring Word.
